Employer Affiliates

We actively assist employers with transitional work programs in identifying cooperative preferred providers for therapy, medical and case management services. Transitional Work Programs provide a vital infrastructure to support cost-effective treatment and early return to productive work following an injury or illness. BWC’s Transitional WorkGrant$ may reimburse up to $5,600 of program development costs, depending on the size of the employer. If your company would like to implement a transitional work program, we will help you locate an experienced BWC-Certified TWP Developer to support your program.

Case Manager Affiliates

We support case managers in their efforts to achieve successful return to work outcomes for injured workers eligible for vocational rehab services by providing out-patient or work-site therapy and job modification assistance to expedite safe return to productive work. Workability Therapists implement individualized plans of productive duties, accommodations, and therapeutic activities with input from all concerned parties. If we determine that in an injured worker may benefit from vocational rehab services, than we will initiate a referral for vocational rehab services.

Physician Affiliates

We reduce unnecessary medical costs by prohibiting our therapy providers from having any financial ties with the injured worker’s attending physician. Our objective assessments of worker restrictions and job demands supports appropriate medical management by removing the guesswork from return to work decisions. Our physician affiliates adhere to our Healthcare Provider Guidelines and respect our therapist’s ability to periodically assess worker restrictions and gradually progress the worker back to full duty within their tolerance. This eliminates unnecessary lost-time or restricted duty days.
